| APR | Annual return stated without compounding |
| Bridge | A protocol that moves assets or messages between different blockchains |
| Buyback and burn | Buying tokens on the market and destroying them permanently |

| DVN | LayerZero's decentralized verifier network. The verifiers that confirm messages between chains |
| EIP-712 | Ethereum standard for signing human-readable structured data |
| EIP-4361 (SIWE) | Standard for signing in to web services with a wallet signature |

| Multi-hop | A swap route that passes through one or more intermediate tokens |
| Multisig | A wallet that executes only when at least a set number of signers have signed |
| OFT | LayerZero's Omnichain Fungible Token standard. Moves tokens between chains by burn-and-mint or lock-and-mint |
